The Process
First, we looked at both sides of the problem. On one side, Eric was wasting time and effort with a clunky and inefficient app platform that limited his monetisation opportunities. On the other side, his paying members had to put up with a workout experience that was frankly sub-optimal. Our task was clear – build a custom no-code solution that’s effortless for Eric and his members to use. At least, until they start lifting. We designed a new app from the ground-up. Using Figma, we crafted a user experience solely with Eric’s members in mind. Every screem, every button, every interaction now feels intuitive and seamless – taking them on a shared, yet personalised Bellmade journey. With the design on- point we moved into build, using the Bubble no code platform to bring Eric’s vision to life, and fast. “Launch fast, iterate faster’ is a Goodspeed maxim, and that was true for team Bellmade. We stayed tight with Eric, gathering real-time feedback from him and his users, tweaking and testing on the fly. Improvements cam thick and fast, turning the app into a tool that automated time-wasting work, improved the exercise experience and unlocked new monetisation opportunities for Eric.
